The Design Sprint is a process for testing new ideas, validating products, and solving business problems faster. Originally created by the team at Google Ventures (GV), the Sprint framework was designed to condense the process of defining a problem, creating solutions to that problem, and then going through with user research in just one week's time.

The Sprint process is democratic by design, and through a series of intense sessions that we've optimised for collaboration the team will be able to focus on solving problems. This program requires commitment from all participants who need to make time in their schedules as it's an intensive 5-day event with no breaks or lunch periods; but the results can often outweigh this small sacrifice because you'll have tangible output at day's end.

A variety of well-known companies and startups have used the Design Sprint process to help them execute quickly, pivot with purpose on their way to success, including Uber, Slack.
